Vehicle/Cargo Collection Information
Please note, during the current pandemic we are following strict social distancing guidelines and procedures, please do not visit the site if you have any symptoms of COVID-19
Prior to collection you will need to:
Provide your name, registration number and intended date of collection to the freight forwarder/agent
Ensure that you have received a 4 digit PIN number and confirmation that the vehicle/cargo is ready for collection (usually provided by a freight forwarder/agent)
Ensure that your vehicle is suitably equipped to handle the vehicle/cargo you are collecting
What to do when you arrive
On arrival please park your collecting vehicle outside our compound next to the fence line, please do not enter the parking or operational yard with your vehicle.
Please stay in your vehicle and a member of J&A Marshall staff will assist you
What happens next?
You will provide our staff with the 4 digit PIN number and they will check your name and vehicle registration number to ensure they match the details on our system
The vehicle/cargo will be delivered to the foot of your collecting trailer
A gate pass will be with the vehicle/cargo which you will need to hand to Port Security as you exit Dock Gate 20
Non-runner release procedure
We will deliver the vehicle to the rear of the collecting agent's vehicle/trailer to enable the collecting agent to load, if further assistance is required please note that charges will apply which will need to be paid at the time of collection.
Please note we do not use forklift trucks to lift vehicles unless a full disclaimer is provided by the Freight Forwarder/Agent.
